A Dodge City man is in critical condition following shooting.

A Dodge City man is in critical condition at Wesley Medical Center after he was transported to Wichita for treatment of a gunshot wound.
The Dodge City Police Department and the Ford County Sheriff’s Department responded to an emergency medical call at 1611 Ave. A about 3:30am Saturday.
Rafael Soltero, 52, had been shot and was initially taken to Western Plains Regional Hospital. A short time later he was transferred to Wesley.
The DPD have not yet determined if the shooting was accidental or if Soltero is the victim of a crime.
