Kansas received 55 of 65 first-place votes to remain No. 1 in this week's Associated Press college basketball poll. Kansas State moved up one spot to No.9.
Wichita State, which lost to then-No. 24 Northern Iowa last week, received five votes. Northern Iowa moved up to 19.
Other Big 12 teams in the poll are Texas at 14 and Baylor at 24.
In the coaches poll, the Jayhawks received 29 of 31 first-place votes. K-State is No. 9.
