Two people were killed in a head-on crash in Ford County Friday morning.
It happened on Highway 400 about four miles east of the US 56 junction.
Timothy Conrardy, 56, of Dodge City, was heading eastbound when he tried to pass a semi. His vehicle struck a Toyota driven by 31-year-old Angela Dale, formerly of Hugoton, now from Bucklin.
They were both pronounced dead at Western Plains Medical Complex. Both were wearing seat belts, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
