The Hooker Advance newspaper reports donations are helping pave the way for Hooker's sports park. Progress continues on the new sports park near the Hooker baseball field with donations coming in for the volleyball pit, horseshoe pit, half basketball court and skate park. An anonymous gift of 23-thousand dollars was provided for the basketball court. Donations for the projects are welcome and can be given through the Guymon Community Enrichment Foundation which would be tax deductable. People can send donations to the Guymon Community Enrichment Foundation, c/o Dianne Roberts, PO Box 481, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942-0481.
