Head Of Security At SCCC/ATS Arrested
Seward's bench had a hay day in the 91-38 win in the Green House Saturday night. Kendra Spresser dropped in 23 points with five rebounds and five assists. The Hoxie native's sister Katie once played for Colby. Morgan Skomal added 16 points and eight rebounds. Vaneza Junior led the starters with 13 points. Seward's starters only played about 16 minutes a piece in a game ninth ranked Seward led 48-17 at halftime. Seward head coach Toby Wynn says it was a good chance to get the bench involved. "I'm glad we got an opportunity to get those kids more minutes," Wynn said after Seward's eighth straight win over Colby. "Anytime you have a chance to get your bench extended minutes, it can only help you later on. It will help them improve. We played the entire bench the last 15 minutes of the second half." Seward leads the Jayhawk West at 10-1 while improving to 23-2 overall. Colby falls to 3-22 overall and 1-10 in the Jayhawk West. Seward hosts Pratt Wednesday night at 6 PM on B107.5 and kscbnews.net.
