During a short summer meeting, the USD 480 School Board re-organized Monday evening.  The board named Stuart Cauble the president and Cliff Abbott vice president.  They are joined by Delvin Kinser, Travis Combs, Nick Hatcher, Matt Friederich, and Steve Helm on the board.

The board also approved the purchase of 10 new clocks for new schools.  The clocks from Kronos cost $31,994 and will be used at Eisenhower Middle School, Seymore Rogers Middle School, and Prairvie View Elementary.  Eisenhower and Prairie View open this fall.

The board voted to accept a grant from the Kansas State Department of Education’s Child Nutrition and Wellness.  The grant for $81,250 pays for the purchase of fresh fruit and vegetables.
