10th Annual Duck Festival At Blue Bonnet Park Saturday

The Liberal Chamber of Commerce will host their 10^th annual “Duck Festival” Saturday at Bluebonnet Park in Liberal. Events will kick off with a Parking Lot garage sale at 8:00am in front of the Liberal Recreation Center. The will be food, fun and festivities all day long culminating with e “Duck Race” at 2:00pm. Scheduled throughout the day will be booths from commercial vendors and non-profit organizations, a firefighter water fight, bouncy houses, trike races for adults, a kick the can contest, the KSCB Chili Cook Off, play a Saint in basketball, a car show, a sound off, National Beef will be selling hamburgers, and there will be a dunk tank. Ducks will be available for purchase for $10 each or a 6 “Quack” for $50, before the race as well. With this being the 10^th anniversary of the Duck Festival, The Chamber of Commerce will be paying out 10 places during the race with a total $10,010.00 in prize money.
